Autumn at The Wine Reserve

The nights are drawing in, it's getting a little bit colder out there and we've finally taken down the Rosé display in store. We and you love it, but it's time to change with the seasons.

WALT RIESLING
£9.99 per single bottle
£8.99 per any six bottles

Look, we're very selective about the wines we choose to stock. Having tried over a hundred new wines at a recent tasting, we selected only six to order. Being such discerning professionals we will not be swayed by the shallow lure of a pretty label.
Except when it's really cool. The wine's not too bad either.
An elegant, fresh Riesling with vibrant acidity and flavours of crisp green apple and white peach. All that for an amazing price!

BOULEVARD NAPOLEON
LE PUJOL GRENACHE
£18.99 per single bottle
£16.99 per any six bottles

Boulevard Napoleon is named after the street where the winery is situated in the village of Liviniere in the Minervois.
The Boulevard Napoleon `Le Pujol` is a Vin de pays de L`Herault made from Grenache, often found in Rhone blends. A beautiful expressive wine with vibrant red fruit and a touch of sweet spice on the nose. The body is full and supple with concentrated fruit, fresh acidity and supple tannins. An excellent partner for a hearty lamb casserole.

FATTORIA KAPPA
ETABETA VERMENTINO
£23.99 per single bottle
£20.99 per any six bottles

Fattoria Kappa is made by Andrea di Maio, former winemaker of Cepparello and Guado al Tasso, so he knows what he's doing. Once again, we may have been slightly tempted by the cracking label, but the wine within is top stuff.
This is a full bodied Vermentino from Tuscany. The wine has aromas of nectarine and citrus fruits with a slight nuttiness. On the palate it's fresh and vibrant with fleshy stone fruits and a lovely savoury note. This is a great food wine.

WILD GOAT SHIRAZ
RAIDIS ESTATE
£23.99 per single bottle
£20.99 per any six bottles

Raidis Estate is a boutique winery based in Coonawara producing hand pruned, low yield, single vineyard wines. Wild Goat has graced our shelves for a while now, and as exciting as all these new wines are, after a recent tasting I was reminded just how good this little beauty is.
On the nose the wine displays blueberry, black raspberry a touch of eucalypt and szechuan peppercorn. In the mouth it's full bodied with smooth tannins and concentrated black fruit leading to a suitably spicy finish.
