The Healesville Guys

It's wine tasting season, which means we get to try new wines and new vintages of wines we have stocked for a long time. 

We have been huge supporters of Behn Payten and Troy Jones wines since we purchased The Wine Reserve in 2015. 

Troy and Behn have a serious focus on sustainability and minimal intervention wine making. They say "drinking our wines is like going to see a live band as opposed to listening to a CD - all the interesting and random fun stuff is left in". 

They like trying European varieties and as well as their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. They make a terrific Sangiovese and Mataro, which are grapes that originated in Europe. 

We love these guys, and their wines are just brilliant.
