Golden yellow colour of good intensity. Intense tropical fruit aromas like pineapple, mango and peach, with delicate citric and mineral hints. Vanilla and toast notes confer elegance and complexity. In the mouth, it shows a sweet and concentrated entrance of good balance leading to a fresh and persistent finish.
Made by one of the best young winemakers in Burgundy, Gregory Patriat, this wine is stunning. The fruit is sourced from a tiny lieu-dit (plot of vines) from the village of Ige (one of the best in the Macconnais). The wine is quite full bodied and shows notes of peach, citrus fruits, vanilla & grapes.
The Story Marsanne Roussane Viogner is produced from the only Marsanne and Roussanne planted in the Grampians region, with grapes from the Westgate vineyard, home to some of the best Shiraz they produce. The wine is fermented using natural yeasts and undergoes a secondary malolactic fermentation.
This White Saint-Joseph is a blend of Marsanne and Roussanne. A brilliant green gold colour. The nose shows very pure floral aromas that mingle with citrus and preserved fruit. On the palate, the wine has similar flavours, with an added touch of honey. Its finish is clean and clear, with flavours of flowers and fresh almonds.
Pale white gold in color with a youthful and protective greenish tint, vibrant with classic aromas of saffron, passion fruit, lemon candy, ginger, sweet oak spices, cinnamon, and a mineral saline note.
This is a very good white wine from the excellent Domaine Chevalier. The wine shows notes of citrus, honey and hay on the nose. The palate has a perfect combination of lemon citrus and stone fruit, intermingled with a hint of vanilla and spice.
