2012 was a dry year which resulted in lower yields, meaning an extra-concentrated and complex wine. The nose is aromatic with herbal notes of thyme and dried rose petal being most prominent, alongside a deep core of raspberry and plum. The palate is just as concentrated with a savoury twist. The tannins are velvet smooth and the finish is long. This would be perfect with steak, curry even or vegetarian chilli. Go on, treat yourself!
