Gabrielskloof The Blend is a South african Bordeaux blend. Delicate violets and black fruit on both the nose and mouth are followed by hints of tobacco, leather and caramel flavours. The bright acidity and juicy palate is rounded off with velvety and complex tannin grip.
The grapes were partially destemmed before treading by foot in the traditional lagars, a hallmark of Quinta do Infantado wines. Fermentation is long at Infantado, producing drier wines, some of the wine was aged in tank and some in oak barrel of various sizes and ages.

The wine was racked into barrels from the second week of March where it underwent malolactic fermentation. After further racking it spent 24 months in new and second fill 225 litre French oak barrels.
