Grenache is one of the most widely planted red varieties in the world, but is exceptionally rare in New Zealand. This Cellar Selection wine is wonderfully ripe and fragrant, overflowing with perfumed cherry, licorice, and violet characters.
The Gimblett Gravels region in Hawkes Bay is known for its unique soil, ideal for the production of premium wines. The Trinity Hills Gimblett Gravels Syrah shows notes of dark berry fruit and crushed black pepper on the nose, with a lifted herbal aromas.
This wine is bright garnet in colour with aromas of plum, sweet cherry, wild flowers and sage. Red berry fruit complemented by mushroom notes dominate the harmonious palate which is well structured with silky, fine-grained tannins and well-integrated acidity.
The grapes for this wine come from their estate vineyards on the Felton Road. Red fruits of the forest along with blackberries dominate the aroma, these are underpinned by savoury herb and liquorice. The wine has a abundant fruity front palate which is fleshy and well textured.
Marion`s Vineyard Pinot Noir has an alluring perfumed bouquet of strawberry and cherry with mouth filling ripe cherry and spicey earth flavours. Ripe red cherry aromas and notes of boysenberries with toasty aromas. Vibrant with fruit-sweetness and refreshing acidity, spiciness and long lasting finish with hints of earthy tones.
A delicious wine from Mt. Difficulty! It’s dominated by cassis, blackcurrant and sweet rose petal notes that sit alongside cassia bark and spice elements in the background. These same sweetly scented blackcurrant characters introduce the wine, followed closely with a touch of pepper bringing warmth.

We were lucky enough to get this Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir from the Canerbury Region comes in this beautiful magnum. The nose offers up a selection of red fruit aromas such as raspberry, pomegranate and cherry. Underpinning this are clove and savoury notes reminiscent of grilled game and black olive tapenade.
