Aromas of cherry, cocoa, raspberry, wild strawberry, lavender, dried cranberry with savoury notes of sage leaf and earthy, blackberry, leather, leading to  medium bodied silky palate with balanced juicy red fruit. 

This is the 3rd vintage of this small lot Malbec. The estate vineyard has just 1 acre of Malbec planted with 2,000 plants. Most of the Malbec is used to create the Red Icon blend. Small lots can only be made in select vintages. Aged in 30% new oak for 18 months.
