The village of St Christol is one of 12 villages in the Coteaux du Languedoc appellation, near the town of Nimes. The wine is a blend from Syrah, Carignan and Mourvedre and is a soft velvety red with a floral bouquet of violets and red berries.
Nice little juicy Organic Corbieres. Robust with pepper to the fore, good character for the price. Mostly Carignan and Grenache. Since 1771 the Fabre family have been owners of Château Fabre in the heart of the Corbières region of the Languedoc.
A fresh and fruity Bardolino made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. The wine is medium bodied with notes of sour cherries, blackcurrants and a hint of black pepper. Soft and supple in the mouth, this wine has a long and fruity finish.

A subtle and wonderfully charismatic cherry scented red wine, given an extraordinary depth of flavour by refermenting the blend of Valpolicella grape varieties on the skins left from the Amarone wine and matured for 18 months in large oak barrels. The wine shows a spicy pepper nose, with a hint of raisins.

Very low yielding vines produce tiny volumes of grapes and following a rigorous drying process and ageing in barrels for 12 months it is released in half bottles. This ripasso style Valpolicella Superiore, has half of the grapes dried for two weeks before fermentation, the resulting wine is then blended with a fresh Valpolicella before being aged in oak for 12 months. Il Rientro is rich and deep with notes of deep black cherry, liquorice, leather, dried fruit and sweet spice.
Is Solinas is a Sardinian wine from the Argiolas family. It is ruby red in colour with violet tinges. It is intense on the nose with notes of ripe fruit and jam. Full bodied, warm and harmonious to taste with persistent fruity notes. the tannins have softened wonderfully, thanks to the time in oak barrels. Great value for a wine of this quality.
Grown in two historic vineyards on the slopes of Cloverdale`s Pine Mountain, from 60 - 70 year old vines, this bold wine making using the lesser known Carignan variety. The wine has aromas of blueberry skin, nutmeg and violet liqueur on the nose.
Typically full and velvety smooth Amarone. Rich dark cherries, plums and prune form the main flavours with cinnamon and a little mince pie spice also present. Full-bodied, but not as monster as some. Easy drinking, soft and balanced flavour profile. Old school and traditional, approachable with beautiful bottle presentation.
One of Sardinia`s finest reds, Terre Brune from Santadi is a Carignan heavy blend from Sardinia. The wine is matured in French oak for 16-18 months before a further year in bottle before release. On the nose the wine displays notes of plums and blueberries complemented by sweet spice, bay, juniper, tobacco and chocolate.

After harvest the grapes are placed directly onto small open racks and brought to the open sided building where they are dried by the cool breezes of autumn and winter until the following February.
An elegant Amarone with fresh acidity yet underlying heft. The grapes were hand-picked and dried naturally, then pressed and de-stemmed. The must was fermented at 23-24ºC for approximately 30 days The wine was aged in 500 litre barrels for 36 months followed by a year in bottle before release.

The Amarone has a complex and ethereal nose, with aromatic notes of cherries, blueberries and chocolate, combined with hints of sweet spice. Smooth and powerful, the palate is remarkably fresh and finishes with ripe fruit.
Intense ruby in colour, with perfumes of spice and blackberries with a mineral note, La Poja is rich and full-bodied on the palate, with great structure and balance, rounded, spicy cherry-blackberry fruit and a long, spicy finish.
