Chateau Angelus 1er Grand Cru Classe 2004

Tasting Notes:

This stunning Chateau Angelus is said to be one of the best wines of the 2004 vintage. Having recently tried it, I can confirm it is full bodied, fruity, particularly soft, well rounded with smooth silky tannins. On the nose there is truffle, ripe black fruits, plum and a hint of licorice and even some chocolate. The concentration is superb with a generous length. Go on, seriously treat yourself, we only have a few and this is a terrific investment, drink now to 2035. 60/40 Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon.
