Chateau Pavie Macquin 2009

Tasting Notes:

A subtle and elegant wine, the Chateau Pavie Macquin 2009 has a nose of plentiful fruit and crushed stone. As this wine glides across the palate, opulent notes of blackberries and plums are unveiled with a lingering minerality throughout the whole of this full bodied wine. Despite being 14.5% alcohol, the heat in this wine is not overpowering and harmonises with the rest of the bouquet of flavours. This wine will happily live as a cellar dweller for 10 years, before it blossoms into maturity.
