Delicate pink in appearance, aromas of cherry, wild strawberry and cranberry combine with more developed brioche and fresh pastry notes. The palate balances soft summer pudding fruits, a vibrant citrus streak and a long and rounded finish.
This is deep gold, golden yellow with a greenish tint. The nose is very fruity, exotic fruit showing rich fruit characters of pineapple, lychee and acacia flower and a hint of smoke brought by the oak. The palate is very well balanced, rounded, full, with a nice fresness which gives a great elegance to this wine.
The 1947 Chenin Blanc is from old bush vines planted by Danie Jnr’s great grandfather in 1947; making it the second oldest Chenin block in the country. Notes of citrus, honey and minerality lead seamlessly to a palate that is beautifully balanced and focused. Orchard fruits, a hint of citrus and spice with crisp acidity and subtle oak.

The iconic Ridge Lytton Springs is a blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignan and Mourvedre from the Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County. The wine presents jammy raspberry fruit with pepper, mint and sweet toasted oak. Brambly fruit on the palate, sensuous and well defined tannins and balanced acidity.
This has a delicious fresh purple colour with good depth, though the nose is reticent – fresh and bright but not yet delivering detail. There’s fine, clean powerful fruit right across the palate, with mineral freshness behind. This is a cooler site which gives it the crunch at the back.
The nose offers cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves with an abundance of dark plums and violets with hints of white pepper and dark chocolate. The attack on the palate is rich, generous and intense with the sweet spices and dark berry fruit following through.
A refined wine with white flower and white fleshed fruit aromas allied to nuances of oak and a subtle touch of terroir. The wine is balanced, the acidity is present and just here to support the wine. The mid palate gravitates around fruits, acidity and structure.
‘La Colline’ is deep, ruby red in the glass. The nose boasts aromas of plush red fruits and herbal notes. On the palate, this wine is rich and robust with excellent structure. The tannins are ripe and well-integrated which is perfectly balanced with fresh acidity.
Another stunning Shiraz from Rory Lane. Clean, grapey tannins, ironstone earthen, and at the same time spicy and structured. Layers are apparent at this early stage, but will age very harmoniously. Unfined and unfiltered.
Intense dark cherry color, with a top layer of color. The nose shows attractive aromas of berries, like blackberries, black currant, raspberry, all joined together with the spices from its ageing in barrel.
In 2009 Michel Redde began a titanic and unique project in an old disused flint quarry called Les Champs des Froids in the Village of Tracy-sur-Loire. The site has a beautiful south west exposure and they have cleared, prepared and planted 4 hectares of vines on these very rocky flint soils.
A deep and powerful Californian Zinfandel, full of bright red fruit. The core of this blend comes from the Cortina Vineyard planted in 1972 in Dry Creek Valley. This site is named after the gravelly loam soils prevalent up and down Dry Creek Valley.

Gran selezione is the new top tier of Chianti classico. This Fonterutoli is a remarkable combination of intensity and elegance, this wine displays ripe red berry fruit, blackberry, blackcurrant, mocha, Morello cherry and a touch of liqourice alongside a muscular structure, fine tannins, balanced with pleasant acidity and a rich, long finish.
Deep garnet in colour, this wine has intense and aromas of red fruits such as cherries with vegetal notes and hints of chocolate and coffee. It is full-bodied and concentrated on the palate with a mineral character adding great finesse.
Pale straw with a chlorphyllic tint, the 2016 Russian River Valley Chardonnay displays a lovely pearlescence in the glass. Arresting aromatics of Asian pear, white florals, and tangerine peel leap dramatically from the glass.
The Grenache in the blend shows in the musky, strawberry perfumes on the nose and combines with the smoky, earthy spice from
