Crozes Hermitage `Matiniere` Ferraton 2014

Crozes Hermitage `Matiniere` Ferraton 2013
Tasting Notes:
The vineyards of this producer are predominantly located in the Northern Rhone and are cultivated along organic principles. This wine is made from Syrah vines, grown on soils of alluvial deposits in the districts of Mercurol and Beaumont-Monteux. Intense cherry red colour with aromas of small red fruits and blackcurrants. A very round wine on the palate leaving hints of cherry and raspberry. Crozes was the wine that the Aussies attempted to mimic a couple of decades ago when they entered the market with warm climate Shiraz.
