A cognac for the connoiseur....each cognac going into the Delamain Vesper X.O Grande Champagne is aged at least 35 years before being blended, at which point it is Limousin oak barrel-aged another two years to 'marry' together, which creates a more dense, rich cognac, with more leather and tobacco notes than the Delamain Pale & Dry.
The bouquet offers notes of new forest growth, cigar box, and the classic vanilla 'rancio' of a well-aged cognac. The palate is mellow, round and powerful in its maturity, with a satiny soft finish.
Extraordinary.
