A lovely balanced fruity wine from McLaren Vale, Australia. Beuatiful blackcurrant and leafy flavours from the Cabernet with a hint of Violets from the Touriga. A perfect, punchy red at a great price.

This Durif has huge inky Black colour, and full-on powerful flavours of Black and Blue fruits with velevety tannins.This is not a shy wine. A speciality of the Rutherglen region the Durif is otherwise known as the Petite Sirah originating from France. A good bet if you are a fan of quality Zinfandel

New Zealand rich deep coloured red from the Hawkes Bay region, dark fruits on the nose with ripe tannins on the palate for young drinking. We all love New Zealand whites, but they do great food red wines for partnering with red meats too !

The Shotfire range immortilises the Clarke’s ancestry in the Barossa goldfields and the Shotfirer’s hazardous job of setting and lighting the charges in the mines. Deep red in colour with brick hues at the edge. Lifted blackcurrant and violet aromas on the nose with notes of dark chocolate, spice and eucalyptus.

Shiraz fanatic and flamboyant winemaker, Geoff Merrill has made as stunning McLaren Vale red wine. Dark and youthful in colour, the nose shows subtle toasty oak, moving to fruit aromas of spice and fresh berries.

A Sangiovese from the New World, that`s what we have here. We were suspicious and then we tried it and it`s marvellous. On the palate there are raspberries, dark berries, juniper and dried herbs. For those lovers of natural wine this beauty has minimal intervention at all stages and has tiny amounts of sulphur added, compared to other wines.

This fine Pinot Noir and is a stimulating example of a hand-made wine created with minimal intervention. It is so different, not polished, but full of character. Some of the grape bunches are left whole and crushed under their own weight to create some spice notes.

The KENNEDY is a classic blend of old vine Barossa Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre varieties. Named as a tribute to the legendary Barossa Vigneron`s who pioneered the planting of the old treasured vineyards,which the Barossa enjoys today.

This Semillon is light white gold in colour, the nose has perfumes of garden herbs and apple over lightly toasty, spiced oak. Bright and tight, crisp and textured, this has layers of fruit and gentle oak savouriness. Citrus peel and green apple, baked pear and hazelnut praline, with a creamy texture and a long, elegant dry finish.

The Gimblett Gravels area is a sub-region within Hawkes Bay with unique stony soils ideal for growing premium wines. The Gimblett is a Bordeaux blend that has an expressive nose, with aromas of cassis, blackberry, blackcurrant leaf, cedar wood and tobacco. Well structured in the mouth, with silky tannins and deep black fruit and savoury oak.

Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec have long been traditional blending partners and are responsible for some of Australia’s most age worthy red wines. The use of 30% Malbec in this wine adds richness and weight to the classic varietal Cabernet characters.

Seresin taste all of their Chardonnay after a year in barrel and only the finest is selected to become the Reserve. The wine is aged for a further six months in old oak puncheons gaining balance, depth and complexity. The 2015 Chardonnay Reserve is a wine full of concentration and poise.

The Balnaves’ family vineyard is situated at the southern end of the famous Coonawarra ‘Terra Rossa‘ strip. Deep rich red in colour, the nose is intense with aromas of ripe cassis, liquorice, and some spicy leather notes, combined with fine smoky French oak. The palate is solid and structured with a fine tannin finish.

The 47 acre Lusatia Park Vineyard was established in 1985 on the Lone Star Creek in the Upper Yarra Valley. Its north-facing aspect, deep free-draining red soils, and close-planted vines ensure intense varietal flavours derived from long, consistent ripening.

World class sparkling wine from Tasmania, a testament to Dr. Andrew Pirie`s belief that Tasmania could be one of the truly great wine regions of the world. On the nose the wine shows crisp apples and citrus fruit which balances out the biscuity aromas from extended lees ageing.

From Waiheke Island in New Zealand, the 2013 Dreadnought is incredibly fragrant with aromas of sweet red fruit, spice and savoury gamey notes which are typical of the style. The palate is undoubtedly concentrated yet retains an element of elegance with supple fruit and vibrant acidity.

The Aviator has a wonderful comlexity. It has ripe rounded berry flavours of blackberry mocha, spice, savoury olive notes and even a hint of bramble. The tannins are fine and silky, the structure is firm but really well balanced. Brilliant with Sirloin of beef and other big full flavoured dishes.

Winemakers Gary Farr and son Nick are behind By Farr, they make small quantities of single vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that rank with Australia`s best. Bright gold in colour, with a trademark mineral note on the nose and hints of integrated French oak. A fine but firm palate with great acidity, texture and length.
