Farnese Cinque Autoctoni 2014

Farnese Cinque Autoctoni 2014
Tasting Notes:

The Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes are from the Abruzzi while the rest are grown in Southern Puglia. For this reason, the wine is classified as a Vino da Tavola. A deeply coloured, intense and powerful wine that is, according to its creator, Valentino Sciotti, ‘a true taste of Southern Italy’ Deep red in colour, with garnet tones. Intense aromas of cherries, prunes, ripe blackcurrant, tobacco and a final toasted note. This wine is full-bodied, soft and rich in tannin with a persistent, long finish showing spicy notes of vanilla and chocolate.
