Leeuwenkuil Marsanne 2014

Leeuwenkuil Marsanne 2014 2014

This Marsanne is not so easy to pronounce, Leeuwenkuil, from the Voor-Pardeberg region, is the first cellar in South Africa to launch a Marsanne. The grapes were picked at lower sugar levels and whole bunches were pressed to maintain their crisp acidity and then it was aged for eight months in French oak.

Leeuwenkuil Heritage Syrah 2012

Leeuwenkuil Heritage Syrah 2012 2012

One of the top wines from Leeuwenkuil, the Heritage Syrah makes powerful statement. The wine has quite a floral nose, with bright red cherries and plum with a dusting of white pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with a subtle earthiness and leathery hints of pastrami complementing rich dark fruit.
