This wine is a cross-section of various Rheingau loess and clay soils with an appealing dry character. The bouquet is characterized by a clear apple fragrance, a hint of kumquat and apricot together with a touch of lime blossom.
The Kaisersteinfels has an intense aroma of pure Riesling fruit. Vigor is coupled with subtle elegance in this wine. The well-melded fruit acid is buffered by a fine remnant of sweetness, and the result is a highly dynamic taste experience.
The bouquet is a combination of a seductive vanilla aroma with touches of lemon, mint accents, mirabelle, mango, banana and black pepper. A subtly mingled fruity acidity makes for powerful accents on the palate. The Schlossberg is direct, tingling, invigorating and enduring.
A wonderful flavor of ripe apples, mirabelles, peach, lemon a little pineapple. Touches of jasmine and a hint of passion fruit are discernible. This Riesling is a mineral, almost salty Riesling with a brilliant fruity acidity.
