Savennieres Chamboreau Domaine FL 2009

Tasting Notes:

Pale yellow in colour with a powerful bouquet of fresh citrus and white flower blossom. The palate shows a tight structure and almost slate-like texture with lots of mineral complexity and good potential to age.

" Wonderfully assertive oak, classic acidic lift with orange peel and floral power on the finish. Bit of honey too. " JancisRobinson.com 16th May, 2011 Richard Hemming, 17.5 points

"Hauntingly-scented with iris, pineapple, quince, marzipan, and a hint of snuffed candle wick, it comes to the palate subtly oily, full-bodied ... and manages to establish an almost shimmering as well as persistent interaction between its fruit and mineral elements. " Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate 1st September, 2010 David Schildknect Issue 190
