Sedella Mediterranean Mountain Wine 2012

Sedella Mediterranean Mountain Wine 2010
Tasting Notes:
Sedella 2010 is a red field blend from indigenous Spanish grape varieties (many of them over 100 year old bush vines) including the rare Romé variety 80%, Garnacha Tinta 15%, Jaen Tinto 3% and Moscatel 2%. A limited production (a total of 3,000 bottles in 2010 and no production in 2011), use of indigenous varieties and location make this wine a true rarity. Sedella has a developing nose of liquorice, dried plums and herbs that gives way to medium bodied fruit on the palate with fine, smooth tannins, crisp acidity and a lovely, lingering finish. Sedella is drinking beautifully now but also has the potential for cellaring.
