Rare by name and rare by nature. This wine is truly spectacular, expressing generations of flavour with the oldest material coming from fourth generation Jack Stanton in the 1960s. An appearance of deep brown with an olive tinge. The aromas are reminiscent of Christmas pudding, walnut and subtle chocolate. Fresh fruit cake with intense raisins are balanced with coffee beans from wood maturation. It has a dry and savoury finish with distinct ‘rancio’ characters.
