The Shotfire range immortilises the Clarke’s ancestry in the Barossa goldfields and the Shotfirer’s hazardous job of setting and lighting the charges in the mines. Deep red in colour with brick hues at the edge. Lifted blackcurrant and violet aromas on the nose with notes of dark chocolate, spice and eucalyptus. The palate starts with plush blackberries and anise, continuing with well-integrated tannin with cherry and plum notes. Refined oak and generous fruit lead to great persistence on the finish. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (35%), Cabernet Franc (25%), Petit Verdot (23%) and Merlot (17%).
