Bursting with forest fruits and a distinct earthy ‘terroir’ from the windblown silt and gravel soils of Reimer vineyard. The palate is rich with dark cherry, plum and redcurrant flavours, well integrated with gentle oak, gives subtle flavours of cloves and cinnamon.
Painted Rock from British Columbia was established by John and Trish Skinner in 2004. The Okanagan is one of the world’s most northerly wine regions with a hot and arid growing season. Aged 18 months on 30% new oak, of which 80% French and 20% American, and 70% second fill French Oak.
The Wismer-Parke Pinot Noir has aromas of plush, ripe red berry fruit on the nose. On the palate, the wine is extremely poised, with silky tannins, bright fruit and racy acidity. A rich and complex wine.
