From an estate part owned by Chateau Angelus and Cos, the aim of the Estate Red Blend was to make the wine as elegant and terroir expressive as possible. Rich and dark on the nose with black cherries, mulberries and spiced wood along with hints of sweet spices such as vanilla.

A magnum of one of our biggest selling reds, the Meerlust Red is made from the fruit that`s not quite good enough for the celebrated Rubicon, but is still an excellent expression of the style. This wine has an intense, opaque deep ruby colour, bright and vivacious in the glass, very youthful.
Bordeaux blend. Very deep, youthful colour, intense almost purple hue. Very classic Rubicon nose with violets, ripe plum, cedarwood and intense spiceynesss. Still very young but brooding, promising further maturation potential. The palate is full bodied, structured but packed with fresh dark fruit and rounded, linear tannins.
Château Haut-Beauséjour, is a beautiful wine from Saint Estephe. The wine offers tobacco and cold cinders on the nose with dark fruits. It has long, rich palate with notes of morello cherry and blackcurrant. Fine supple tannins and a fresh acidity adds energy and poise to the wine. Delicious.
Top of the range red, the wine has an intense deep colour. The aromas on the nose are classic for this style of wine. Heady notes of cassis, black berries and dark cherries. There is a slight herbal .lift and freshness to the nose with hints of tomato puree and tomato leaf and the typical hint of mint which is indicative of its origin.
The Balnaves’ family vineyard is situated at the southern end of the famous Coonawarra ‘Terra Rossa‘ strip. Deep rich red in colour, the nose is intense with aromas of ripe cassis, liquorice, and some spicy leather notes, combined with fine smoky French oak. The palate is solid and structured with a fine tannin finish.
Margaux - Moulin d`Angludet is made from the same vineyards and with the same dedication as Chateau Angludet itself. The strict selection in vineyard and from cask ensures the finished wine shares the a similar finesse, complexity and elegance of a fine Margaux, but released for early enjoyment.
Bright ruby in colour and scented with raspberry and Darjeeling tea, this lively expression of Sonoma Coast pinot noir emerges from the glass in layers of blackberry and cherry with subtle hints of vanillin and clean earth. Supple tannins and balanced acidity grace a long finish.
Cabernet Sauvignon brings great elegance and longevity, thanks to firm and velvety tannins. Nero d’Avola stands out with fruity (cherry and sour cherry) and spicy notes. The addition of Tannat enhances the fruity component while adding a great polyphenolic structure rich in tannins. a variety ideal for long-ageing wines.
Margaux - This wine is a very well crafted example of good claret. Well structured, powerful fruit concentration without being overbearing, the wine shows glorious notes of cassis, intermigled with cedar.
Good depth of ruby red colour with an intense perfume of damsons and chocolate. On the palate it has great concentration and intensity, especially on the mid-palate, with smoky, plummy fruit and lovely balance between supple tannins and youthful acidity.
A single vineyard Barbera from producer Poderi Aldo Conterno. The wine has a beautiful fragrance, with black cherries, spiced plum and a floral perfume. On the palate the wine is concentrated with dark fruit, ripe plums and delicate notes of spice with supple tannins and a fresh uplifting acidity.
Dedicated to Philip Mazzei (1730-1816), an illustrious ancestor of the family, a passionate grapegrower, political thinker, and “worldly citizen”. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from each of the Mazzei’s estates, Philip is the quintessence of Tuscany.
Super attractive Bordeaux style Tuscan. Deep ruby red with purple hues, notes of black cherries, sage, chocolate, cassis and new leather on the nose give way to opulent rich fruit in the mouth. This is a huge, brooding red that will reward a few years‘ ageing while its formidable tannins melt into the fruit and the finely integrated oak.
The ‘Brunello’ clone of Sangiovese, which grows in the hills of Montalcino, near Siena, produces Tuscany’s most intense and famed red wine. It expresses a powerful, assertive character, complex with mineral, leather, truffle and orange peel nuances and is robust and full-bodied on the palate.
Cheateau de pez offers beautiful ripe red fruits and dark blackberries, with a hint of tobacco on the nose. This is a very enjoyable wine, which is slightly rustic and will do well with hearty dishes like lamb and roast beef as well as cheese truffles and chocolate. It is versatile and super tasty.
