Zmago Petric`s family`s winery is located in Vipavska Dolina and from the very beginning, they have worked organically and biodynamically, devoting their energies to local grape varieties and respecting the natural environment around them.
Good depth of ruby red colour with an intense perfume of damsons and chocolate. On the palate it has great concentration and intensity, especially on the mid-palate, with smoky, plummy fruit and lovely balance between supple tannins and youthful acidity.
A single vineyard Barbera from producer Poderi Aldo Conterno. The wine has a beautiful fragrance, with black cherries, spiced plum and a floral perfume. On the palate the wine is concentrated with dark fruit, ripe plums and delicate notes of spice with supple tannins and a fresh uplifting acidity.
The ‘Brunello’ clone of Sangiovese, which grows in the hills of Montalcino, near Siena, produces Tuscany’s most intense and famed red wine. It expresses a powerful, assertive character, complex with mineral, leather, truffle and orange peel nuances and is robust and full-bodied on the palate.
The Rubesco, Vigna Monticchio from Lungarotti is prodominantly made from Sangiovese. It is an elegant and beautiful wine with super precision and balance. Full-bodied, super silky and incredibly refined. This is one of the best wines of Umbria is drinking well now, but also has long aging potential.
