From a vineyard just below Griotte-Chambertin comes this fine, bright purple wine. A very elegant, stylish, gently-fruited Gevrey: a lovely medium-bodied wine, with a long graceful finish, silky and pure.

The Sangreal Pinot Noir is the flagship wine for By Farr, perfectly expressing its unique site and Pinot Noir clones. The nose is full of delicate notes of cherries and raspberries, which continue onto the palate. These fruit characteristics are balanced by bright acidity.
The Pommard was fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and 20% was matured in new oak barrels for between 15 and 18 months. The colour is a deep, dark red with mauve highlights and the wine is attractively scented, boasting aromas of juicy bramble fruit.

This Nuits St Georges is much darker in colour than wines from the neighbouring village of Volnay and so is a relatively powerful Pinot Noir. On the palate there is succulent berry fruit together with a slight herbal note. This gives way to supple, soft tannins and the wine has excellent length.

Petite Chapelle is a vineyard to the South of the village near to the Grand Cru plots. The fermentation takes place in vats for 3-4 weeks before being aged in oak for 18 - 20 months. The wine is well coloured, with full tannins, rich and finely flavoured.
This is a single vineyard Pinot Noir from Mineral Springs Ranch, a 240 acre parcel of woodland and grazing land in Oregon. The wine offers a complex set of aromatics: baking spices, raspberry and wild blackberry are prominent. There are also hints of vanilla, dry herbs and earthiness.

The nose is bright, precise and elegant with distinctive (German Pinot) notes of bacon, clove and even of wild (Black) forest floor fruit and strawberries. leshy and expansive on the palate, with sweet blackberry and wild cherry flavors providing fine energy and weight.
