Rum

This is a blend of casks from two distilleries in Jamaica. Monymusk and Hampden. The latter distillery has Scottish roots, and is one of the oldest sugar plantations in the country. It has always been known as a rum distillery of high calibre, making spirit for blending.

Named after the world’s rarest stamp, Penny Blue is a small batch Single Estate Mauritian Rum distilled at Medine. Doug McIvor from Berry Bros. & Rudd and Jean Francois Koenig, Master Distiller at Medine, handpick casks for maturation. The rum is amber with golden highlights.

An exquisite sipping rum that is made almost entirely from sugar cane honey. This fine rum is blended from 80% pot still rum and 20% light rums aged for up to 12 years. The end result is a truly exceptional rum showing characteristic fruity and sweet flavours to a level of concentration that is even higher than its family members.

The nose is distinctively nutty with a full, smooth and well - rounded body and hints of fig and floral spice. The palate is a delicious butternut taste with light vanilla and dried fruit. There is a lingering finish, with hints of roasted almonds, cinnamon and toffee—very elegant.

Among the Trois Rivières rum collection, VSOP Réserve Spéciale is especially appealing. Though faithful to the Trois Rivières style, the perfect smoothness and delicate fullness of this rum make it outstanding. Trois Rivières VSOP is the result of a harmonious blend of rums aged for an average of 5 years.

Diplomatico Vintage is a limited edition created by Master Blender Tito Cordero and the result of blending carefully selected reserves laid down in the year 2001. During this year, a number of factors contributed to rare conditions for sugar cane growth.
