The Oldest High Rioja winery. Hand harvested and made with modern techniques. Stylish, bright ruby red and very intense in colour. Highly aromatic on the nose with hints of red and black autumn fruit aromas along with some toasted and spicy notes of sweet Bourbon character.

One of our biggest selling reds, the Meerlust Red is made from the fruit that`s not quite good enough for the celebrated Rubicon, but is still an excellent expression of the style. This wine has an intense, opaque deep ruby colour, bright and vivacious in the glass, very youthful.

Laibach were the first certified organic block in Stellenbosch and this wine has become a benchmark for organic wine production in South Africa. Named in tribute to the 3,000 Ladybirds that are released each January to combat the presence of the mealybug and protect the vines.

The latest episode in the series by The Liberator is a beautiful and complex blend of Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Franc expertly crafted by our friends at Eagles' Nest.

A northern Italian stunner, the Dolcetto d'Alba from Fenocchio is a deep ruby red in colour wiith an intense bouquet of black fruits and spice. On the palate, notes of liquorice, almond and blackberries are soft and round. 

Nebbiolo grapes from Piedmont. 

The juice was barrel-fermented then matured “sur lie” in the barrel for 9 months with occasional rolling of the barrels to accentuate the leesy character. 8% tank-fermented Chardonnay was blended with the barrel-fermented wine to ensure well-balanced citrus flavours.

From Greek winemaker Gaia, the 'Agiorgitiko by Gaia' offers aromas of ripe berries and gooseberry through to caramel and discreet oak nuances. Soft tannins underline a rich, well structured velvety body.

Unusually the Kiss Trift St Laurent is oak aged, lending the wine some wonderful earthier aromas. Deep fruit aromas are complimented by wilder and more savoury tertiary notes with a touch of leather, sweet spice and smoke. Concentrated on the palate, with a dash of brick dust, berry fruit and dried flowers.

Rich and full-bodied pleasure of Riesling at its best with comparatively little residual sugar. Hence a perfect main course wine, not a pudding wine. Juicy and fresh expression of peaches and dried apricots, great ageing potential.

Purity, vibrancy and harmonious balance result from the careful selection and blending of specific clones grown on clay soils in the cool Elgin Valley. A broad, seductive compote of concentrated black cherries, cranberries and savoury forest floor aspects is supported by dry oak tannins.

This wine is the perfect expression of top quality wine made from grapes grown on Licorella soil - smooth, fruit driven with lovely soft tannins. This is a must try for any Spanish enthusiast.

A classic Rioja from sisters Cristina and María Amézola. Intense ruby ​​color that reflects a touch of age. Delicate nose of black cherry, damson, and raspberry, with a touch of sweet spicy notes, and toasty vanilla from 22 months of French and American barrel ageing.

Light yellow with brilliant glimmers of green and gold. 
The nose is fresh and aromatic with floral and fruity notes.
The palate is fresh and balanced. We find the varietal aromas of
viognier such as hawthorn and acacia as well as peach, with a persistent but elegant finish.
 

Strong citrus and guava aromas on the nose with ripe pineapple and peach flavours that follows through on the palate along with crisp pear. These are complemented by a long, clean, crisp aftertaste making this a remarkably concentrated yet fresh and fruity style of Chenin Blanc which will develop with bottle ageing.

When enjoyed young, Château La Mascaronne Rosé is delightful before or with a meal. But it is also marvelous after several years of aging, a more unusual feat for a rosé wine.

Another 'Major' Cabernet Sauvignon from Ernie Els. Red berry fruits billow from the glass with classic cigar notes over elegant crushed dried herbs, black cherry and ripe plums with red cherry freshness. The entry is inviting, fresh with a vibrant youthful energy of bouncy red fruit and an earthy undertow.
