Our Wines

This South African blend is made from grapes, mainly Shiraz, grown in the Stellenbosch, Paarl and Elgin regions. This wine is created to show the fresh, fruity and spice driven flavours of these Rhône varietals. The colour is youthful and purple/red. The nose is one of crushed black pepper, dark mulberry and mixed berry coulis.

Lifted blue fruits, blood plum, ripe blackberries and Christmas pudding-like spice flow out of the glass with spicy pepper, and hints of bramble and dark chocolate. Generous mouth filling sweet blackberry, raspberry and plums cover the palate with lashings of sweet spice.

This wine is part of the superb parcel of wines `liberated` by MW Richard Kelly. Richard has sourced this Syrah from the De Morgenzon vineyards in Stellenbosch and closely resembles the wines of Crozes-Hermitage & Saint-Joseph. The wine shows red-black fruit & a slight floral note on the palate.

Nuy (pronounced Nay) Red Muscadel is something of a Cape classic. It wins acclaim with every vintage although is barely known outside of South Africa. The cellar was established in 1963 and is situated at the foot of the Langeberg mountain range which defines the Worcester wine region.

This has full ripe Pinot Gris spiciness in the nose, with a lovely lemon lift. It is medium weight, but with a full, stony impact on the palate, where it is long and satisfying with good acidity. No malolactic fermentation is allowed, so the wine retains a bright crisp citrus acidity. Attractive peach fruit.

Aromas begin with crushed berries, black cherries and spices followed by a light floral note. The exuberant palate is full and rich and finishes long.

Lovely organic Cotes du Rhone from Simon Tyrell and Charles Derain. A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault fermented in stainless steel and spends 6 months lees ageing.

From a family run single vineyard in the Yakima Valley AVA, this dark concentrated Syrah possesses flavours of dark berry, clove and white pepper, coating the palate with a plush round mouthfeel and leading to a silky-smooth finish. Suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.

The grapes were partially destemmed before treading by foot in the traditional lagars, a hallmark of Quinta do Infantado wines. Fermentation is long at Infantado, producing drier wines, some of the wine was aged in tank and some in oak barrel of various sizes and ages.

Bordeaux Superieur - A superb property located on the edge of the famous Margaux appellation planted with 65% Merlot 15% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. Aged in oak and carefully blended, this delicious claret is consistently good, with ripe supple fruit and soft tannins.

Bremerton have been experimenting with making wine without preservatives for a number of years, resulting in this Shiraz. Rich and ripe with a concentrated plum fruit core and a silky texture.

A biodynamic beauty from Reyneke, the syrah offers a perfumed nose with upfront white pepper, spice and red cherry aromatics. Followed by undertones of rosemary and lavender. The palate is fresh and vibrant with juicy tannins and a well balanced structure.

This exceptional red wine from Touraine is made from 30 year old Cabernet Franc vines grown on gravel soils in a warm micro-climate. It has been aged on the lees in Burgundy casks for a year to bring roundness and subtlety. The colour is an unexpectedly deep purple, and the bouquet combines black fruits and spice.

The Orzada Camenere from Odfjell is a rich dark red in colour. The wine is intense and complex on the nose, with spices and ripe red fruits such as cherries, raspberries, and plums mixed with aromas of blackberries and anise. The palate is juicy and powerful with velvety-soft tannins and a long finish. It`s big and delicious!
