Episode 29 represents the 5th ever Chenin Blanc released by The Liberator (and there you were thinking this was a blatant and cynical reference to a famous perfume). It also happens to be the single largest Liberator ‘Episode’ release to date.
This wine is part of the superb parcel of wines `liberated` by MW Richard Kelly. Richard has sourced this Syrah from the De Morgenzon vineyards in Stellenbosch and closely resembles the wines of Crozes-Hermitage & Saint-Joseph. The wine shows red-black fruit & a slight floral note on the palate.

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from the Colchagua Valley, Chile renowned for making excellent red wines. In Colchagua, the moderating breezes from the ocean slows ripening allowing the wines to achieve perfect ripeness. Cool nights help retain acidity giving freshness to the wines. One of our best sellers and one of the top 3 Gavi estates, this is premier league quality. If you`ve tried Gavi before this, prepare to be blown away. Straw-yellow with a greenish hue. On the nose it is more perfumed than the previous vintage, with scents of green apples and fresh pears.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from the Curico Valley. Curico‘s mediterranean climate is a result of the vines being shielded from the Pacific Ocean by the Coastal Range. Sauvignon Blanc from Curico is riper in comparison to the cooler climate regions in Chile, but is still able to retain freshness due to cool nights.
This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc is bursting with a fruit-salad-bowl of flavours including ripe gooseberry, passionfruit, fresh citrus lime and exotic herbaceous aromas.
