Lifted blue fruits, blood plum, ripe blackberries and Christmas pudding-like spice flow out of the glass with spicy pepper, and hints of bramble and dark chocolate. Generous mouth filling sweet blackberry, raspberry and plums cover the palate with lashings of sweet spice.

Great value blend of Syrah Grenache Tempranillo and Mourvedre from the Barossa. Deep red, with aromas of cherry and spice. Fruity, earthy and a little spicey. Perfect with red meats, barbeque and cheese. All that for pocket change !

A strong, spicy Shiraz from South Australia which is well balanced with complex rich, expressive leathery palate and a hint of smoky American oak. Soft tannins and intense red berry fruit continue on the long finish with intense flavours of dark chocolate and spice. A great pairing for red meat dishes.

This is a serious wine with aromatics of dark plum, cherry, spice and earthy undertones. The palate is generous and rich and does not disappoint with these characters shining through, coupled with dark berries. A long tannin structure integrated with new and older French oak make this wine one that will age very well.

Bin No 1 Shiraz is a classic, cool climate, aromatic Shiraz, made in a style that is perfumed, spicy and peppery, yet well balanced with no overt dominance of alcohol. It’s a great match with food - particularly dishes like spring lamb.

This Shiraz has intense red and black cherry fruits that dominate the palate, heightened by the growing presence of blue florals and pepper spice. The tannins are chewy, which is just what you want from this kind of wine, with subtle oak and fine acidity on the finish which carry the wine to achieve amazing length and balance.

An intriguing nose of rose petals and summer pudding of lifted red fruits, berries and a little lime marmalade from the co-fermentation with the aromatic Eden Valley Riesling. Wild cherries, blueberries, and mulberries and an impressive stucture balanced by spicy, supple oak and soft velvety tannins.

Aromas of blackberry, plum and chocolate are given an element of spice from 18 months maturation in American oak barrel. It is a powerful Shiraz, richly flavoured with candied fruits, game and mineral nuances, long and satisfying.

Mitolo’s vision is to create individual, handcrafted premium wines built on passion and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Deep purple in colour, this wine shows bright, vibrant, rich fruit. On the nose an abundance of blue and black berries, with mocha and a hint of spice.

Le Chemin des Garennes from Chateau Capion is a blend of Roussanne and Bourboulenc from the Languedoc. A pale golden yellow in colour, the wine displays aromas of mandarin, white peach and lemon zest with notes of fennel, white flowers and wet stone. Barrel ageing lends the wine weight on the palate which is balanced by a refreshing acidity.

Blend of Shiraz with a tiny bit of Viognier, the white aromatic variety. Aromas of violets and peppercorns, nutmeg and blue fruits. Rich and smooth on the palate with soft velvety tannins and flavours of fruit compote with savoury charcuterie notes. Juicy, with medium weight and good balance. Very drinkable, doesn`t knock you over the head.

Shiraz fanatic and flamboyant winemaker, Geoff Merrill has made as stunning McLaren Vale red wine. Dark and youthful in colour, the nose shows subtle toasty oak, moving to fruit aromas of spice and fresh berries.

This wine is a project formed between two very good English cricketers (Ian Botham & Bob Willis) and one very good Australian winemaker (Geoff Merrill). The wine is full bodied showing notes of blackberry, leather and anise. It ends with a lovely dry finish.

Boutique Coonawarra estate with classic eucalypt notes. The Wild Goat Shiraz has it all going on. Fruity with hints of chocolate, mint and vanilla bean influence from the oak. Great stuff. Great value Oz classic for not much money.

Quality sparkling red from The Barossa. Beautifully deep in colour with a persistent fine bead. The bouquet shows hints of satsuma, plum and black cherry leading to an explosion of dark exotic fruits on the palate. A very special sparkling red for times of celebration.

Nestled at the bease of Mt Torrens in the Adelaide Hills, Lobethal Road produce wines with a distinctive cool climate character. Hand picked on 23rd March and whole bunch pressed into seasoned French barriques. A delicate floral nose with hints of nectarine leads to a textured palate of spiced honey, wild herbs and grapefruit notes.

Old School Shiraz with deep flavours a pure fruit character and a more approachable price point from Mitolo. Deep bright crimson, with bright perfumes of raspberry, cherry cola and nicely integrated vanilla and cedar oak. Intense flavours of raspberry and cedarwood, the Angela has a real energy thanks to lively acidity and freshness.

Deep, black-red in colour, with perfumes of dark cherry, aniseed and blackcurrant on the nose, giving way to good structure on the palate, ripe, silky tannins and a broad, spiced, savoury fruit character. it is spicy and rich to the finish.

This Shiraz is so called, because the very first person to taste this wine judged it to be `a knockout`! Did you notice the boxer on the label is a double Mollydooker?

Fragrant aromatic and spicy nose, showing an array of red fruits and subtle oak. The palate is dominated by a flavoursome compote of red fruits, black fruits and a variety of spices. Ripe, fine tannins and good concentration provide structure, length and a seamless balance. This is one of the best value wines that we stock.

This stunning Rousanne, Chardonnay, Chenin blend is made in very small quantities and a true hidden gem to own. The grapes are grown on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge property, Hemelrand. Yellow apple, peach and apricot as well as ginger and spice. Great depth of flavour and pleasantly oily in texture.

This wine is incredibly fresh and lively. On the nose there are aromas of cherries and fuity berries with a hint of red pepper. The mouth fills with all that fruit, hints of coconut, pepper and spice. The wine is deliciously dry with creamy tanins. This is a wine of complexity with plenty of layers to ponder. Fantastic!

A small amount of Shiraz is hand-picked every year to make this limited release Sparkling Shiraz. "You could bite into this! It`s dense, black, chocolaty and richly flavoured, the smooth, spreading flavour of it very easy to fall for.

The 2014 Antiquarian Shiraz was selected from the finest Barossa grapes and matured in French oak barriques for 24 months.The wine is glorious upon release and will develop even greater complexity with cellaring for up to 10 years. The wine is a deep crimson red, showing brick edges.
