The passionate and innovative young winemaker Pascal Cuisset owns this beautiful Dordogne estate, south west of the town of Bergerac. His rich and concentrated dessert wine from the neighbouring village of Saussignac, is made from Semillon and Chenin grapes affected by noble rot and aged in barrel for 15 months.
The famous “sundial” vineyard, in the village of Wehlen, produces the quintessential Mosel Riesling Kabinett: elegant and refined, with a racy texture and endless charm. This precipitously steep and rocky vineyard yields some of the most elegant and sophisticated white wines in the world.
Great depth of colour with the lovely herbal berry notes characteristic of good Dolcetto. Red, black and blueberries with a touch of dried summer herbs such as marjoram and thyme follow through to the palate where the solid tannic structure of this variety gives structure and weight to the berry fruit character.
