The Fourchaume-Vaulorent vineyard is positioned between Grand Cru and 1er Cru Fourchaume vineyards on ideal Kimmeridgian limestone soils. A brief ageing on the lees is complemented by a small percentage of barrique-aged wine to add complexity.

Domaine Ostertag owns 0.75 hectares of vineyards in the Heissenberg or “Hot Mountain” vineyard in Nothalten. With a soil of pink sandstone of the Vosges and gneiss, this south-facing slope is planted exclusively to Riesling and gives fleshy, mineral wines with generous, exotic aromas.
Multi-award winning New Zealand Pinot Noir. Fantastic, complex and hand-crafted. Intense black cherry with aromas of black currant and some floral notes. Fruitiness combines with meaty, fleshy aromas and a touch of smoke and tobacco.
Blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Deep and intense ruby red color with violet dyes. It shows a great aromatic intensity of ripe red and black fruits, blended with spicy and mineral notes like black pepper and eucalyptus. Its long ageing in French oak shines elegant smoked aromas of vanilla, tobacco and chocolate.
This is a very good white wine from the excellent Domaine Chevalier. The wine shows notes of citrus, honey and hay on the nose. The palate has a perfect combination of lemon citrus and stone fruit, intermingled with a hint of vanilla and spice.
