This medium to full bodied wine has aromas of bergamot, tobacco and dark fruits. The palate is structured, with firm, grainy tannins, spices and herbs, and fresh dark fruits. The finish is dry, layered and long.

Domaine Chapoutiers Hermitage `Monier de la Sizeranne` is a blend of the different soils from West to East, with grapes from le Bessards, le Méal and les Greffieux encompassing the breadth of soil types in the region. The wine is aged for 12 to 14 months in French Oak.
Qupé (kyoo-pay) A Native American Chumash word for Californian Poppy, is a winery based in the Edna Valley in Santa Barbara County. This Syrah is made from fruit grown in their Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard. The wine has Sublime notes of boysenberry, blueberry and black olive transition into a long and lingering finish.

All this follows through on the palate. It`s dry, fruity with present but ripe tanins. Is it worth all the fuss? Hell yes!
The Barge family spans seven generations, since 1860 as grape growers in Côte Rôtie. The first bottled wine appeared in 1929. The Syrah and Viognier grapes which make up the `Côte Brune` come from Ampuis, the village at the heart of the Côte Brune appellation.

Painted Rock from British Columbia was established by John and Trish Skinner in 2004. The Okanagan is one of the world’s most northerly wine regions with a hot and arid growing season. Aged 18 months on 30% new oak, of which 80% French and 20% American, and 70% second fill French Oak.
Restrained, yet with intent and subtle power, these vineyards exhibit high levels of rotundone; producing piercing black pepper, powdery tannins complete with rich textures and prodigious breadth of black-orientated fruit.
One of the top wines from Leeuwenkuil, the Heritage Syrah makes powerful statement. The wine has quite a floral nose, with bright red cherries and plum with a dusting of white pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with a subtle earthiness and leathery hints of pastrami complementing rich dark fruit.
A delicious wine from Mt. Difficulty! It’s dominated by cassis, blackcurrant and sweet rose petal notes that sit alongside cassia bark and spice elements in the background. These same sweetly scented blackcurrant characters introduce the wine, followed closely with a touch of pepper bringing warmth.
The Bona Fide Pinot Noir is darker and more intense than any other Crystallum Pinot. There are notes of smoked meat, Indian spice and fresh cranberry which are followed by an intense fruit filled mid-palate. The wine has a lovely length and freshness. Another stunning Shiraz from Rory Lane. Clean, grapey tannins, ironstone earthen, and at the same time spicy and structured. Layers are apparent at this early stage, but will age very harmoniously. Unfined and unfiltered.
A small amount of Shiraz is hand-picked every year to make this limited release Sparkling Shiraz. "You could bite into this! It`s dense, black, chocolaty and richly flavoured, the smooth, spreading flavour of it very easy to fall for.
Located at the south west of the appelation, the ‘Lieu Dit‘ lies on exceptional sandy soils which give the Grenache its fine tannins, airy flavours and wonderful acidity which balances its power so well. Deep ruby in colour with a subtle nose of ripe black fruit, soft liquorice, plum and stone fruits. In the mouth, it is racy and elegant.
The P`tit Pape is a Northern Rhone style blend, of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvédre from the Californian Central Coast. Aromas of wild thyme, sagebrush and cranberry lead into a lighter yet lively palate full of chaparral spice, cracked pepper and zesty red fruit. Serve with anything.
A beautiful single vineyard Syrah from Stellenbosch made by star winemaker Reenen Boorman. Very northern Rhone in style with fragrant blue fruit and black pepper spice. Beautifully balanced on the palate with ripe, concentrated fruit, soft tannins and a long savoury finish.
The superb Domaine des Bosquets Gigondas is made by Laurent Brechet from his 26 hectare estate close to the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains. As at Vaudieu, the wine has freshness yet richness. Laurent has identified three different terroirs which add to the potential for different ripeness levels and fruit characters.
The Domaine de Breseyme Cotes du Rhone is from Brezeme, one of the smallest vineyard regions in the Southern Rhone. Made from 100% Syrah, this wine displays ripe blue fruit, leathery notes and black pepper spice.
Beautiful dark red dress. The nose is powerful with intense notes of juniper, black olives and pepper. In the mouth, it is an explosion of red fruit, with floral and spicy notes, but with a very nice balance combining great freshness, a beautiful complexity, a soft texture and a nice acidity. A wine that has a lot of character.
