Made from the original 1989 planting of Chardonnay in the Greyfriars vineyard, the old vines produce small yields of the most interesting Chardonnay in the vineyard. Bottled in 2016 and aged for over 6 years on the lees. The wine boasts an abundance of fresh green apple on the nose and palate, balanced by a creamy mousse with a finish reminiscent of buttery pastries.
