High Clandon Gloriana 2018

This English sparkling wine, Gloriana 2018, from the High Clandon Estate in the Surrey Hills area, is a wonderful example of how good English sparkling wines can be. The 2018 vintage benefited from a gorgeous sunny summer which yeilded lovely ripe fruit. With 4 years lees aging, the result is a fabulous golden wine with a light elegant mousse. Elderflower, roses and pastry on the nose with palate filling peach and nectarine notes a creamy mouthfeel and zippy acidity. Absolutely delicious.
