Irrewarra is a winemaking project by Nick Farr, the famed winemaker behind By Farr’s Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Branching out from Geelong, Nick has sought out a new frontier in Western Victoria, 150 kilometres west of Melbourne near the small town of Irrewarra. The 2023 Irrewarra Chardonnay is wonderfully fresh with notes of lemon and lime on the nose. On the palate, the wine has flavours of grapefruit and sour peach with a saline grip. The acidity is vibrant and the oak influence is seamless.
