The Lantignié `Granit Rose` is a blend of different parcels grown on granite soil in Lantignié, a tiny town in west Beaujolais. The wine is perfumed with floral notes and red and black cherries. The palate is posied and well-balanced with fine tannins and lifted acidity.
Evergreen dwarf shrubs or trailing vines from North America are better known as cranberries. Cranberry shrubs or vines grow in acidic bogs throughout the cooler regions of the northern hemisphere and produce small, very acidulous and slightly tart berries. This Cranberry Liqueur retains the slightly acidulous taste of the fruit.
The Viognier provides exotic aromatics of apricot, musk and jasmine and a luscious mouth-feel. Marsanne provides gentle honeysuckle flavours as well as structure and tension to balance the fullness of the Viognier. Silent Pool Damson Gin is made using locally grown Damsons that are steeped in the Albury gin to fully extract all their wonderful flavour, before gentle filtration. On the nose there are berry fruits mixed with crisp juniper and slight spiciness. The palate is bittersweet with the damson fiving way to hints of almond.

Regarded as more prestigious and collectable than many shippers’ declared Vintages, they often appear for sale at auction. Outstandingly bright, lively and intense garnet red, with an incipient cherry red rim. The first nose is very intense, with spicy, balsamic and ripe fruit notes. After swirling, aromas of black pepper, sweet liquorice, nutmeg, coffee, vanilla and cinnamon make their appearance.
The superb Domaine des Bosquets Gigondas is made by Laurent Brechet from his 26 hectare estate close to the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains. As at Vaudieu, the wine has freshness yet richness. Laurent has identified three different terroirs which add to the potential for different ripeness levels and fruit characters.
Typically full and velvety smooth Amarone. Rich dark cherries, plums and prune form the main flavours with cinnamon and a little mince pie spice also present. Full-bodied, but not as monster as some. Easy drinking, soft and balanced flavour profile. Old school and traditional, approachable with beautiful bottle presentation.
Very dark ruby in colour. The nose opens with aromas of red fruits, kirsch and cacao. Rounded in the mouth, this wine is full of elegance, with a softness that belies the excellent structure and balance.
The Soutiran Signature Grower Champagne spends 7 years ageing on lees, thus creating a beautifully rich and complex wine. The nose combines aromas of stewed pears, peaches and stone fruits. It has a really fascinating touch of aniseed too.
Cheateau de pez offers beautiful ripe red fruits and dark blackberries, with a hint of tobacco on the nose. This is a very enjoyable wine, which is slightly rustic and will do well with hearty dishes like lamb and roast beef as well as cheese truffles and chocolate. It is versatile and super tasty.
The Cap Maritime Chardonnay is an absolute joy! It is beautifully mineral with that lovely wet stones, sensation as it runs over the tongue. The the stone fruit and citrus comes in with clarity. The wines finsishes with floral notes and a hint of French oak. Every mouthful is layered with complex fruit, floral notes and marvellous texure.
The Wismer-Parke Pinot Noir has aromas of plush, ripe red berry fruit on the nose. On the palate, the wine is extremely poised, with silky tannins, bright fruit and racy acidity. A rich and complex wine.
At the core of this Darkness expression is an 8 year old single malt Scotch whisky which has been matured in ex-bourbon barrels. Following that, the whisky is moved over to custom-made Oloroso sherry octave casks for at least three months.
This Ramos Pinto 20 year old tawny port is unsurprisingly tawny colour, with red tints. Lovely aroma of complex luscious mature fruit, spices and vanilla. Sweet and multi-layered palate with mellow dried fruit and a deep spicy flavour plus a ripe dark fruits dimension. Very long savoury finish. Fantastic!
The benchmark red wine of Sardinia conceived by the Argiolas family and Giacomo Tachis. It would be an understatement to call this wine `iconic`. Turriga is a rare Italian gem. Aromas of Morello cherry, mulberry and blackcurrant.
