This 5 Year Old Madeira starts life as fermenting must and is then fortified before undergoing its own very special maturation process. Made of predominantly Tinta Negra Mole Grapes, harvest begins from mid-August due to the warm southerly climate.
A dark gold wine with greenish hues. A complex and developed aroma of honey, nuts, namely hazelnuts and vanilla. Half sweet palate of nuts, with caramel and wood and a good balance between sweetness and acidity. An excellent accompaniment to rich desserts and chocolates.
