Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz 2016

Stonewell Shiraz – first made in 1987 – has one guiding principle: to be Peter Lehmann’s best Shiraz of vintage. The name Stonewell was chosen in recognition of the high quality Shiraz grapes being grown around Stonewell Road. This limited release Stonewell Shiraz has aromas of dark, plummy fruit, a touch of chocolate and hints of mint. The palate is superbly taut with intense depth of fruit reined in by firm tannins. It is drinking beautifully now, but also has the potential to be cellared with confidence for many more years to come.
