Made by the Grandson of Italy`s most famous sportsman Fausto Coppi, one of the greatest cyclists of all time. This is bright & youthful , with an intense ruby colour. The aromas are full and profound with notes of cherry and wild strawberries. The rounded, fresh palate is an excellent, modern take on Barbera. A great all rounder, very versatile. What`s not to like - brilliant stuff !

Vigne Marina Coppi
Established by Marina Coppi, the daughter of Italian cycling legend Fausto Coppi (voted Italy`s greatest sportman of the 20th century), the Piemonte estate is now run by her son, Francesco. Focusing on the indigenous Italian grape varietals of Barbera, Nebbiolo, Freisa, Croatina, Favorito and Timorasso on their four hectare estate, the wines benefit from the vineyards` sheltered position, low rainfall and continental climate. The Fausto, the estate`s flagship white, is a Timorasso that is elegant and complex, while the Sant` Andrea is a great example of the complexity and fruitiness that a Barbera can deliver.
