Pride Mountain Vineyards Merlot 2018

83% Merlot (a blend of clones 3, 181 and 348); 12% Cabernet Sauvignon; 5% Cabernet Franc. Fermented in stainless vats and aged for a year in French oak, 40% new. Dark plum colour, aromas of sweet black fruit and strawberries, black plums and vanilla. A rich palate, intense and concentrated with lush texture. Super-ripe yet by no means confected or sweet, balanced with savoury notes, well-integrated spicy oak notes, concentrated, with a very long finish.
