Tommasi Ripasso della Valpolicella 2019

A subtle and wonderfully charismatic cherry scented red wine, given an extraordinary depth of flavour by refermenting the blend of Valpolicella grape varieties on the skins left from the Amarone wine and matured for 18 months in large oak barrels. The wine shows a spicy pepper nose, with a hint of raisins. Intense, spicy and sweet cherry flavours abound on the palate, a well balanced wine.
