From the historic producer Casa Ferreirinha, the wine is made at the modern winery at Quinta da Leda in the Douro Valley. Very deep ruby in colour. Its intense and complex aromas include notes of red and black berries, balsamic hints, resin and cedar wood. Subtle menthol and spicy notes such as black pepper and cocoa are the result of careful maturation. On the palate, it has excellent richness, well-integrated acidity and fine tannins.
