Tom and the Peloton is named after Tom Simpson, one of Britain`s greatest cyclists who was the first British rider to wear the Yellow Jersey and compete in the Tour de France in 1962. Sadly, during the thirteenth stage of the Tour of 1967 Tom collapsed and died during an ascent of Mont Ventoux at the age of 29.
An intense claret coloured Malbec from Argentina with a complex nose with a combination of red fruits such as cherries and a hint of violets. Smooth mouth feel, this is a fresh and fruit wine that carries vanilla and caramel notes from ageing in small oak barrels. A well defined structure and drinking beautifully now.
This deeply coloured barrel aged Languedoc blend is perfumed with dark cherries, black pepper and vanilla spice. Hints of wild herbs and minerals add to a rich palate of dense dark fruits and subtle oak. Great value,this fantastic Chartreuse property is among the best of the appellation, producing firm, rich wine from predominately Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a small percentage of Cabernet Franc. Tanesse has classic structure, and in this great vintage it has extra depth of soft fruit with subtle oak, ripe tannins, and an excellent balance.
This organic wine from the Odfjell team is a bight Ruby-red in colour. Red-fruit aromas recall strawberries and plums, along with notes of licorice and anise. All this comes through on the palate with perfectly balanced ripe tannins and a long, refreshing finish.

Le Logis de la Bouchardiere dates back to 1850, and is headed up by Cabernet Franc king Bruno Sourdais. This is the flagship wine from the estate and represents everything that makes Chinon great. On the nose the wine has complex aromas of chargrilled peppers, violet, pencil lead and crushed stone.
